I couldn’t throw the pizza box into trash. Wanted to use the cardboard and here is the result of pizza box and the left over scrap papers

Very simple to make and looks lovely when hanged on your door or wall.
The shape looks similar to a christmas wreath, so if you are game for experimenting you can use this as a christmas ornament too..

If you are looking for an alternative to flowers you can try gifting this. It can be a nice keepsake too.

Here are the steps to make it:

1. Make Two Circles (Large and small as shown in the fig) on the cardboard/card stock. I used Pizza box here and tried making circles with plates

2. Cut the circles along the lines and use the outer circle.

3. Draw leaf shape on the paper and cut the leaves accordingly. You can make the leaves even with newspapers/magazine papers. B/W gives the vintage look.

4. Start sticking the leaves on the cardboard using glue. You can also staple the leaves.Try to roll the leaf a little at the bottom to give the ruffled look and then glue it.

5. Follow the curve and complete covering the whole circle with leaves.
Tie a small ribbon(You can also add a bow) to use it for hanging.

Couple of hand made cards I made today..

Sorry for the bad image quality. The cards look better outside

These cards are really simple to make.
All you need to have is some textured card stock, glitter and satin ribbon.
I used origami technique for the shirt card and it took me 10 minutes to make the entire card.

If you are low on budget and want to gift something really different, then you might want try these simple handmade gifts. Foam sheets are very inexpensive and are really easy to craft. They make excellent gifts when clubbed with different materials. With bright colors they look great on walls.

Next time you want to surprize someone by decorating their room (Birthday,anniversary what ever ocassion it might be) don’t forget to use these foam ideas.

Materials required:
Foam sheets
Scissors/craft knife
Glue
Colourful buttons (optional)
Double sided tape/foam tape to fix these on the walls.

I have used dark colored foam sheet for the background too, that is optional and is left to you.

“Peas” forgive me

Time taken to make this gift : 15 Mins
Materials Used:
1. Hard Peas (2 tb Spoons)
2. Construction Paper/ Chart paper (Preferrably Green)
3. Popsicle sticks/Icecream sticks ( These are available in any stationary/crafts shop. You can use thick paper if you don’t find these for th background)
4. Sketch Pen/Marker to write the message
5. Glue

Stick the popsicle sticks(12) together using glue. (You can also use construction paper )
Draw a circle to make the smiley on the popsicles/paper
Fix the peas on the cirle using glue.
Write the Message at the bottom using a sketch or marker

Make a hole on the top and attach a string or ribbon for hanging it.
You can also hang it around the neck of a cute stuffed toy to make it look even better.
